PIRKS COFFEE is a family owned business, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, that started with the idea that our customers wanted the same thing we wanted, a clean, warm, and friendly environment, quality products at a fair price, and a hearty thank you very much.

Chuck and Sharon Pirkl opened the doors, known affectionately as "PIRKS" by many of our customers, on March 4, 2002. PIRKS COFFEE got its' name from Chuck's nickname of his last name, from the caddy master of the golf course right across the very street where we are located, when he was just a wee lad of 10 years old.

Originally, Chuck wanted to sell coffee and tea on the internet, when Sharon suggested they open a coffee shop. Chuck got out the phone book and after looking over the yellow pages, he gave it to Sharon and said, "What don't you see?" Sharon said, "No coffee shop in Inver Grove." BINGO! in June of 2001, the idea of PIRKS COFFEE was born. September 11, 2001, happened, and with hesitation, PIRKS COFFEE still went into the development stage, thinking people will still want coffee, even with the events of terrorism on the shores of our great nation.

Well, here we are now, full circle, selling our award winning coffees, teas, and other fine products on the internet.

We at PIRKS COFFEE strive not to be the biggest coffee shop, but the BEST coffee shop anywhere, anything less is just not good enough. Our dedication is to provide our customers with only the highest quality coffees and products, known in this universe.
